of Western Ontario Extended Campus Program Department of Psychiatry Four psychiatrists maintain faculty appointments with the University of Western Ontario. The Clinical Director and Psychiatrist-in-Chief of the Northeast Mental Health Centre - North Bay Campus, represents the Extended Campus Program on the Research Committee of the Department of Psychiatry, University of Western Ontario alternatingly with Dr. B. Kata from Northeast Mental Health Centre. In addition the Extended Campus Program provides support for the Neurological Outreach Program from the London area for the Northeast Mental Health Centre - North Bay Campus. University of Ottawa Departmental members provide multiple educational programs (CME type programs) to North Bay Psychiatric Hospital. Dr. B. Talarico offered a 6 month elective at Northeast Mental Health Centre - North Bay Campus from July to December 1998. University of Toronto A six month core rotation in long-term care for psychiatric residents has been developed and accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Further core rotation positions are currently in development in collaboration with the University of Toronto. |
