Community and Rural Psychiatry
Exciting elective opportunities
exist through the
Extended Campus Program
(ECP) in under-serviced areas of northern Ontario. Current locations include
North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay, and Sudbury.
As part of a multi-specialty
community-training network under the auspices of the
South Western Ontario Medical Education Network
(SWOMEN), two to six month community
psychiatry core and elective outpatient and inpatient rotations are available in
one or more of the following locations: Chatham, Goderich, Stratford, and
Windsor.
Accommodation and travel allowance
can be provided to residents who elect to undertake these training experiences.
